Cinema - Intouchables

Intouchables

The "Intouchables" ("Untouchables") is one of the bests films I´ve ever seen. It is a french dramatic comedy uplifting film turned in 2011, and in my point of view, the best film from that year. The two brilliants directors, Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano bring us in a very realistic but sweet way a plot (based in a real story) of a wealthy quadraplegic man (performed by the outstanding actor François Cluzet) that needs full-time caring because of his physical incapacitiy. He is going to find the help, the true friendship and the joy of living in a vey poor and apparently lazy young man (the so charismatic actor, Omar Sy).

Iconcial scene:
" Pas de bras, pas de chocolat!"
, in a free translation:
"No arm, no chocolate!"
Maybe because of its french production, maybe because it is based  in a true story, wich is laso a book, the fact is that we have a quite humaine picture that gives us a "click" with the characters, making us fall in love for each one of them. Try not laugh with the (many times unpolitical) teasings made by Omar Sy. With his huge white chuckles, it is just impossible !

I also had an instantly crush by its soundtracks. It´s an amazing selection that we hear in many of the memorables scenes, such as  "Feeling Good" in the remarcable scene which Cluzet does a parachute drop, or when the smilling Omar Sy dances by the sound of "boogie Wanderland". I just wished to dance with him, too (unluckly for me, the cinema was a bit crowded).

I would normally expect a sad drama or some kind of morbid humour about these touching subjects (poverty, disability, amonsg some others), but that´s the reason why this film is so surpsing. It goes way beyond. We learn a great life lesson  without moralism or judgements. Instead, we have a sweet, delicated humor and above all,´
we have a really inversion of our conception of how dealing with such themes.

It is a fantastic life lesson with no moralisms and no jugements.
I felt from the movie room with an incredible happiness, feeling more positive than ever! So... I dare any of you, to watch it and not to feel the same!
If you had already seeing it and you´re asking youself: "why is it called 'Intouchables' ?", just think about the strong unexpected frinship between two diffrents worlds... It´s intouchable !

So... As the frenchs say, "Amusez-vous !", or just simply...Enjoy it!
